Everyone needs to see this movie if for no other reason than to be introduced to Nietzsche's philosophical thought experiment (only touched upon in the movie) of the "eternal recurrence" When absorbed fully into one's psyche' this brilliantly disturbing notion has the potential to change ones life permanently for the better
It is a tender story of an historically misinterpreted man light years ahead of his time From what I understand of Nietzsche's life, the movie might have taken some events a bit out of chronological order, however, it is a trivial point and I might be wrong anyway This movie paints the man as the deeply tormented, yet brilliantly humane philosopher that he was It's a wonderful introduction to the works of Frederich Nietzsche and had me sobbing like a baby at it's poetically magnificent ending
